Special Visit – Gen Kelsang Jampa, NKT-IKBU National Spiritual Director

We are very excited here at SMC to be receiving a special visit from Gen Kelsang Jampa, who is the the NKT-IKBU National Spiritual Director for the US and the Resident Teacher of the Kadampa Meditation Center in Texas.

On May 3rd, Gen Jampa has very kindly agreed to give a special public talk entitled ‘The Power Of Our Prayers’.  Please save the date and be sure to take advantage of this unusual opportunity to receive teachings and guidance from this inspiring teacher.

There is also a special opportunity to engage in Wishfulfilling Jewel Tsog Puja presided by Gen Jampa. This is the daily puja (chanted meditation) at Kadampa Centers, and everyone is welcome to join in with these prayers and offerings.

Gen Jampa has been a disciple of Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso for many years and has received the lineage blessings and oral transmissions directly from him. His warmth, kindness and deep understanding of Buddhist teachings provide an inspiring example of Buddhism in practice.
